This capo clams firmly onto your square neck reso guitars neck, and attaches securely to the strings for best sustain.  The mass of this heavy brass capo helps with that sustain too.  It also aligns by indexing over whichever fret you desire to use it on, which eliminates “micro adjustments” after its put in place to get the intonation just right.  You can pretty much “set it and forget it.”

It’s pretty much set to fit most string heights right out of the package, but it is adjustable if you need change it to best fit the string height of your specific dobro.
